Carmel Cake Squares

1 cup of butter
1 cup of white sugar
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. of cocoa
1 1/2 cups of flour

Combine and spread on a full size cookie sheet.
The batter is really thick, so I put cold water on my
hand and press on in to the pan.  Bake at 350 degree
oven  for 15 minutes.

Middle Layer
1 1/2 cups of butter
4 Tbsp. of flour
2 cups of brown sugar
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
4 Tbsp. of corn syrup

Heat until the sugar has dissolved.
I melt this in the microwave.
Pour over the bottom layer, and put
back in the oven for 15 minutes. Leave
your oven at 350 degrees. Cool your cake
and cut along the edge. I did this before I
put the chocolate topping on, so its easier to slice
into squares.


8 oz. of chocolate chips
4 Tbsp. of butter

Melt slowly in microwave or stove top.
Spread on cake and cool a bit more in the fridge.
Cut into squares and try not to eat too many at one
time.  This is my favorite ! I just made it for Christmas
and am hoping there will be some left by then. Enjoy!
