Easy Layered Lettuce Salad Recipe

1 head of  bite size iceberg lettuce

1 cup of diced celery

6 chopped hard boiled eggs

1- 1/2 cups of uncooked frozen peas (thawed)

1 to 1-1/2 cups of real bacon bits or fried bacon

1/2 cup of chopped green onions (optional)

1/2 cup of diced cucumber (optional)

1/2 cup of chopped green pepper (optional)

Wash and layer all of the above in to a 9×13 pan.

Salad Dressing

2 cups of mayonnaise

2 Tbsp. of sugar or stevia

1-1/2 cups of grated cheddar cheese

Spread dressing on top. Sprinkle with the grated cheese.
This salad is better if it has been in the fridge overnight.
It is good for when you are having company, as you can
have it ready and done the day before.
